Lash Extensions
How long do eyelash extensions last?
A full set looks its best for 2–3 weeks. Because your natural lashes shed on a cycle, we recommend refills every 2–3 weeks to keep the set full. With great aftercare, many guests stretch to 4 weeks.
Do extensions damage my natural lashes?
Not when applied correctly. Our licensed artists isolate every natural lash and use weights your lashes can safely carry. Damage comes from poor application — clusters, glue overload, or picking — none of which you’ll find here.
How long does a full set take?
Plan for up to two hours depending on the style. Refills are shorter. Most guests rest through the appointment — the bed is heated.
Can I wear mascara or eye makeup with extensions?
You won’t need mascara — that’s the point. If you must, use a water-based formula on Classic sets only, and never waterproof mascara. Oil-free makeup remover only, always.
How do I care for my lashes in the first 48 hours?
Keep them dry for 24 hours — no water, steam, saunas, or sweaty workouts. After that, cleanse daily with a lash-safe cleanser, brush gently with a spoolie, and sleep on your back if you can.
What if I have sensitive eyes or allergies?
Tell us when booking. We offer a complimentary patch test at least 24 hours before your first full set, and we stock a sensitive-formula adhesive for reactive eyes.
Lifts, Lamination & Waxing
What’s the difference between a lash lift and extensions?
A lift curls and tints your own lashes — nothing is added. Extensions add length and fullness with synthetic lashes. Lifts are lower maintenance (6–8 weeks, no refills); extensions deliver more drama. Our lift page has a full comparison.
How long does brow lamination last?
About 4–6 weeks. Brush your brows into place each morning and use a nourishing serum a few times a week to keep them soft and shaped.
Does facial waxing hurt? Will I be red after?
We use hard wax made for delicate facial skin, so most guests describe it as a quick sting that fades in seconds. Any pinkness usually settles within 30–60 minutes thanks to our post-wax calming serum.
Booking & Policies
Do I need an appointment, or do you take walk-ins?
We’re by appointment only so every guest gets unhurried, one-on-one time. Book online anytime or call 617-639-5210 — same-day spots do open up, especially weekday mornings.
What is your cancellation policy?
A card holds your appointment, but nothing is charged until your visit. We ask for 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule; late cancellations may be charged 50% of the service.
Where exactly is the studio, and where do I park?
We’re at 270 Babcock Street, suite C-102, in the Babcock Tower building by Boston University. Take the Green Line B to Babcock St — we’re a two-minute walk. Metered street parking runs along Babcock and Commonwealth Ave.
